Patricia "Pat" Margie BIRD and Gilbert Walton "Wally" BRONSTAD were married on February 24, 1961, in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. Pat is the daughter of Jeff Augustus "Gus" Bird (1893-1954) and Clara Myrtle GRAY Bird (1900-1988).  Wally is the son of Clyde Pernell BRONSTAD and Louise Myrtle WALTON, Wally  was born on September 24, 1940 in Cranfills Gap, Bosque County, Texas. Pat is the 4th great-granddaughter of Ironmaster William BIRD (1706-1761) and Brigitte Huling (1710-1792) Pat is the 4th great-granddaughter of William WILLIAMS (1730-1780) and Lucy TERRY (1737-1788). Pat is the 7th great-granddaughter of James TERRY (1676-1744) and Mary Diane ROYAL (1680-1745). Pat is the 9th great-granddaughter Thomas GAY (1590-?) Pat is the 11th great-granddaughter of Lady and Marquis Jean Paul Frederick de HULINGUES (1531-?). Margaret is the great-granddaughter of Thomas Jefferson BIRD (1861-1931) & Drusilla GAY (1867-1948)  and Bias Henry PULLIAM (1858–1913) & Mary Jane BELL (1859–1883).  Margaret is the 2nd great-granddaughter of George BIRD, Jr. (1821-1888) & Melinda Elizabeth CARROLL (1827-1906) and Nicolas James PULLIAM (1822–1842) & Mariah Eysha HISE (1820–?). Major William Edgeworth BIRD (1825-1867) and Sarah "Sallie" C. J. BAXTER (1828-1922) were married on February 24, 1848, in Athens, Hancock County, Georgia. William was born on July 21, 1825, in Sparta, Hancock County, Georgia and died on January 11, 1867, at his Granite Farm Plantation, in Sparta, Hancock County, Georgia.  Sallie was the daughter of Thomas W. Betty is also the niece of Kirk Louis Linton (1914-1987)

Glenda was born on November 29, 1943 in Wyandotte, Michigan. David & Glenda had two Children: Michael David BIRD, born on June 24, 1966 and Mark Duane BIRD, born on October 10, 1969 . Amos died on May 4, 1857, in Harrison County, Ohio.  Amos married Hannah HUTCHISON (1810–1879) on March 26, 1829, in Harrison County, Ohio.  Hannah was the daughter of Stor HUTCHISON (1779–1859) and Jemima MOORE (1784–1855). Hannah was born on March 26, 1810, in Chester County, Pennsylvania and died on September 20, 1879, in Gentry, Gentry County, Missouri. Amos and Hannah had ten children:  Permela WHARTON (1830–1832); Mark WHARTON (1831–1911); Abigail WHARTON (1834–1906); Abraham "Abe" WHARTON (1834–?); Phoebe WHARTON Warden (1836–1921); Stor Hutchison WHARTON (1838–1926); Robert Morris Ross WHARTON (1840–1887); Ezra L. WHARTON (1844–1915); Woodward WHARTON (1846–1942); Richard Eli WHARTON (1848–1923).  Amos was the 3rd great-grandson of John LINTON (1662-1709) and Rebekah RELFE (1670–1714) and the was 3rd cousin 2 times removed of Charles Edward LINTON (1800-1958) and the 3rd cousin 3 times removed of Kirk Louis LINTON (1914-1987)

 

 

Today is the anniversary of the emigration of Andrea VOLONINO (1884-?). He was born in Barile, Italy. At the age of 26, he immigrated to America. Andrea departed Naples, Italy and arrived in the Port of New York City, New York, on February 28, 1910. In 1912 Andrea married Concetta NASTASIA (1871-?), in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts. Andria and Concetta are the grandparents of Andrea Ann LINTON Hollis and John Edward LINTON.

John J. ”Dyer” BIRD  (1812-?) was born on February 29, 1812, in Bath County, Virginia and died in  McHenry County, Illinois. John was the son of David BIRD (1781–1864) and Elizabeth HULL (1784–1852). John married Jane "Jennie" CHESTNUT (1817–1885) on July 9, 1835, in Bath County, Virginia. Jennie was the daughter of John J. CHESTNUT (1788–1854) and Nancy Jane GALFORD (1789–1870). Jennie was born in 1817, in Highland County, Virginia and died on December 30, 1885, in McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois.  John and Jennie had two children:  John M. BIRD (1836–?) and Joseph A. BIRD (1842–1908).  John next married Margaret Matheny CALLAHAN (1822–1912), in 1854, in McHenry County, Illinois. John and Margaret had one child, Isabel BIRD (1855–1943). John J. ”Dyer” BIRD was the 2nd cousin three times removed of Jeff Augustus "Gus" Bird (1893-1954) and the 2nd cousin four times removed of Evelyn Virginia "Polly" BIRD Linton (1922-2012)

 

Janet BOYD (1680-)  was Baptized  on February 29, 1680, in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland. Janet was the daughter of Robert BOYD  (1645–1678)  Earl of Kilmarnock and Lady Bessie ADAMS (1647–1687). Janet was the 7th great-grandaunt of Annie Lucretia CRONK Linton (1888-1956) and the 8th great-grandaunt of Kirk Louis LINTON (1914-1987)

 

 

Mary FARNSLEY  (1796-1850)  was born on February 29, 1796, in  Bulletts Station, Jefferson County, Kentucky and died in 1850, in Jefferson, Breckinridge County, Kentucky.  Mary was the daughter of James J. FARNSLEY (1761–1823)  and Miss GUFFEY (1765–1817). Mary married James TATE (1787–1879) in 1825, in Breckinridge County, Kentucky.  James was born in 1787, in Somerset County, Pennsylvania and died on June 4, 1879, in Blount County, Alabama.  Mary and James had four known children:  Nancy TATE (1827–1907); Mary Ann TATE (1832–1903); Polina J. TATE (1833–?); Gabriel "Gabe" Famsley TATE (1839–1886).  Mary was the 4th great-grandaunt of  Betty Jean FARIS Petty (1921-2011) and the 5th great-grandaunt of Christine "Chris" Betty PETTY Linton, also the 6th great-grandaunt of Travis Louis LINTON and Wade Farris LINTON.

 

 

Molley FARNSLEY (1796-1841) was born on February 29, 1796, in Bulletts Station, Jefferson County, Kentucky and died in 1841 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Molley was the daughter of James J. FARNSLEY (1761–1823) and Miss GUFFEY (1765–1817). Molley married Samuel EARICKSON (1793–?) in 1814, in Jefferson County, Kentucky.   Molley was the 4th great-grandaunt of  Betty Jean FARIS Petty (1921-2011) and the 5th great-grandaunt of Christine "Chris" Betty PETTY Linton, also the 6th great-grandaunt of Travis Louis LINTON and Wade Farris LINTON.

 

 

Ann TROY (1784-1831) was born on February 29, 1784, in Salisbury, Rowan County, in North Carolina. Ann was the daughter of Michael TROY (1750–1808) and Rachel POTTS (1752–1806).  Ann died in 1831, in Wadesboro, Anson County, North Carolina.  Ann was married Major Ross BIRD (1770-1815), on November 8, 1797 in Wadesboro, Anson County, North Carolina.  Ross was the son of Marcus "Mark" Huling BIRD (1739–1812) and Mary ROSS (1739–1790).  Ross was born in 1770, in Birdsboro, Amity Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania and in 1815, in Rutherford, Rutherford County, North Carolina.  Ross and Ann had five known children:  Robert Troy BIRD (1800–1807); Maria Ross BIRD (1803–?); James Madison BIRD (1808–?); Wade Hampton BIRD (1810–1911) and William Ewing BIRD (1812–1879). Ross was the 2nd great-granduncle of Jeff Augustus "Gus" BIRD (1893-1954)  and the 3rd great-granduncle of Evelyn Virginia "Polly" BIRD Linton (1922-2012)
